Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority wishes to announce that there will be no Winter Concert Series in 2007.
The decision follows a comprehensive review in early 2007 of all of the events in Darling Harbour. This review confirmed that the Winter Concert Series was declining in popularity and attracting a diminishing number of visitors.
Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the event's cancellation. In place of the Winter Concert Series, a number of new and exciting future events are being explored for Darling Harbour.

Hoopla … it's awesome, bizarre,
spectacular and free!
The acrobatic and street theatre
festival returns to Darling Harbour
each year for the Easter long weekend. Over four days Hoopla showcases some of the world's best circus and acrobatic acts as they perform a variety of skills including juggling, abseiling, gymnastics, aerial stunts, plate-spinning, trampolining, stilt walking and unicycling. There's street busking, slapstick routines and interactive circus workshops for the kids. For great family entertainment at no expense you can't beat Hoopla!

 THE DARLING HARBOUR JAZZ & BLUES FESTIVAL
June long weekend
The Darling Harbour Jazz Festival has established itself as Sydney's premier Jazz Festival. The Festival extends over the June long weekend and attracts visitors from Sydney, interstate and around the globe. The annual Festival showcases a star-studded line-up of Australian and international jazz artists that has included James Morrison, Paulini, Frank Bennett, Blaine Whittaker, The Cat Empire, Monica Trapaga, Kate Dunbar and the Zenith New Orleans Jazz Band.  CHRISTMAS AT DARLING HARBOUR
Making a mark for itself as Sydney's premier Christmas festivities location, Darling Harbour kick starts its Christmas program with the lighting of its spectacular Christmas tree in the Convention Centre Forecourt in early December. With more than 56,000 lights, 700 mirror balls and 100 rainbow reflectors, the stately tree is the brightest in the Southern Hemisphere and is lit during a special concert for people of all ages. |

 AUSTRALIA DAY
Every year Darling Harbour hosts
Sydney's biggest Australia Day celebrations with an impressive line-up of free entertainment for all the family. From early in the day Darling Harbour stages the grandest of celebrations including an all-day feast of international food, performing artists, live bands and face painting and interactive shows for the kids. Ceating a majestic finale to the day, a parade of tall ships sails around Cockle Bay, setting the scene for a dazzling extravaganza of fireworks, digital effects, pyrotechnics and music. Australia Day at Darling Harbour has become one the biggest events on the Sydney event calendar.
